I have mine on my Downpipe, BUT....
Crispeed always recommends the runners. He says that way they will always show the same range - and if it [the tune] is off, you will know it much sooner, since the load won't affect the temps as much as they do in the downpipe.

I would check timing again. Retarded ignition = glowing headers.

remember, we have not changed the timing at all since the day this car was first tuned with this setup. the timing is still where it's been and the header has not glowed till just recently. BUT... it hasn't been ruled out we shall see

I know I know, but maybe it has been accidentally changed... I would double check just in case. Was there any other accompanying symptom, like loss of power?
