Well, I got to planting my 12a turbo in my car and I have come to a problem. I am trying to use the OEM 12a motor mount and when I bolt it to the 12a turbo the center of the block is an inch too far to the right. Does the 12a turbo have a different front plate as the 12a? (I am using a tranny from a 97 if that makes a difference)

Any ideas? I can put up pictures if needed.

Is the oil pan hitting the crossmember or is the turbo hitting the idler arm? I can't remember if the turbo oil drain is on the front cover or the oil pan of the 12aT, but one of them is slightly different from the normal 12a, I'm not sure if the motor mount is the same or not. Pictures would help, and where did you get a tranny from a '97? You got some friends in Japan sending you parts?
