12a starter question

alright...i'm havin the biggest brain fart right now. i'm putting my motor back in my car and i'm bolting the starter back up. i have 2 big wires there. one is black with a yellow line on it and goes straight to what i believe is the negative battery terminal. the other is just black with a boot on the end. i know that one goes over the solenoid on the starter but does the one with the yellow stripe go as well? or is that the one i ground out to the motor with the long starter bolt? thanks.

Yes, thats the ground. It suppose to ground on one of the bolts that hold the engine and tranny together.
