Anyone know what a set of seals for a 12A should cost? So far I've seen prices in the $790 range for the kit...are there cheaper places? Thanks...

 

do you mean a kit with the apex seals?

the fel pro kit without the apex seals runs $150 or so.....

That price sounds right for a kit with apex seals.

Thanks....yah thats a kit with apex seals, where can I get that fel pro kit? Cuase I think I can get just the apex seals for ~$300 and if I can get all the other seals for $150 than I'd be doing pretty well...

 

The Fel-Pro kit is all the "soft" seals, it's everything you need to assemble an engine but it doesn't come with any rotor seals (apex/side/corner/oil/springs/etc.).

$150 is kinda steep if you ask me, I paid $90 for the same thing from Mazdatrix.

 

some one told me the fel-pro kit came with the oil control ring seals and the mazdatrix one did not! this may or may not be correct.

I can get the fel pro kit through a guy who works at a parts store for less than $130.
