12a problems seals maybe??
Ok heres the run down. Car use to run 5yrs ago but had a carb problem. Fast foward to now finally i get enough carbs saved up and start running through them. I found one that worked perfectly car ran for approximately 9hrs total of letting it idle, tuning the carb and Neighborhood driving. I seen 7k a few times. Now before all of this I checked everything and replaced Plugs with the correct L and T NGK's and a fuel filter with exxon 89. The car ran perfect for 2 days and a couple of Hrs. Then the horror begins. I start the car up one morning let it idle until it didn't need the choke held ad then let it idle 15min more. Took it for a drive around the block and let it see 7k. When I came to a stop it died. Started up again and drove home and let it idle, turn it off and on a few times and just let it sit until the next day. Now when i came out the next morning and tried it NOTHING. So i did everything I did when I 1st started working on it. Hooked a timing light up and tested all 4 plugs. There all Hot!! Took the igniters off and checked all of them with the same test thats in the archives. All of them Work! Unplugged from the coil packs and plugged up to a New MSD for the leading and another 83 coil for the trailing..again NOTHING. Did more reading..Did a backyard compression test(same way thats done in a few write up's/Youtube)ok then i put ATF in both housing and let it soak over night. FIRED up this a.m. with rough idle. Switch back carbs(thought I had a fuel prob)and it ran with a horrible rough idle...15min later wouldn't run. So I poured 3oz of ATF in the carb and it smoked like hell but it ran. So then I held the rpms up to 3k and bounced from 3k to 4k x alot. Once I let go of the gas it didn't Idle. Now Im here. Help Please lmao

Check the fuel bowl float solenoid...
It's a one wire solenoid kinda right behind the alternator plug, but on the carb.
That one wire should be getting 12V w/ignition on.
If it's not hooked up, well... it caused all kinds of weird unexplainable carb problems for me.
Just an idea.

And next time, use Seafoam instead of ATF. Especially if you are trying to start the car, and it might be flooded.
Now that you have used the ATF, your plugs are probably fouled. Pull them, clean them, and see if that improves things.
Also, if you have spark on the plugs, then you already know that the ignitors are working.

If the car sat for 5 years with gas in it, your new fuel filter or the pickup may be already plugged by tank gunk that's now come loose.
Did you drain and clean the tank when you started work on resurrection?

I didnt take the tank down and clean it but I did use about 60psi and cleared the lines forward and back until they were flowing free with air. And replaced the fuel filter and added new gas. When doing the back yard compression(with the tester Rotary ready lol)what number should it bounce to 3x?

Anything over 90 is ok and within the same area give or take 3psi eitherway when comparing front - rear rotors.
Maybe drain the fuel from the tank and see how what comes out looks... It might still be funky in there. There should be a drain bolt dead smack in the middle / bottom of your tank.
