12a Carb valves?

12a Carb valves?

I was checking my engine and those valves that come from the carb/ the ones that are hooked up to alot of hoses... one of them is missing a hose... the car idles fine and its runs good but uhm is it bad to leave it open? do they get clogged up? any advise will help. i will try to take some pictures to post them up. hope i made sense.

basically that little pipe/tube that i circled doesnt have a hosed attached to it but when the har is running it sucks air in, i dont want it to get plugged.

then the hose that is not attached to anything is coming from the thing i circled, have no idea what thats for . help please.

put a vacum cap onto the first one that is sucking air and the second large black cylinder is cruise control

why not just remove all the emmisions, as well as your hot start assist, and cruise.
