12a - Can it run on one rotor?
Can it? I was messing with mine, and while it was running, I removed the T-1 plug wire-no change, removed the L-1 plug no change, I then removed the T-2 wire little change and then L-2 and the engine stopped.
Seems that if I reconnect all, except L-2, then it won't run..........
It idles fine (with all plugs) but I am having issues with a smooth acceleration.

yes, the engine can run on one rotor. are you sure you are getting adequate spart on both the leading an trailing side? if it were runnig on one rotor, the engine will run rough, have a low idle, the acceleration will be very slow, and the engine will rev very slowly.

It actually idles fine, and the acceleration is smooth while warming up (with the choke pulled) It sputters when the choke is not pulled.
And as for getting shocked.........I am tough! (maybe stupid too!)

Be careful driving that **** with cats, running on only one rotor. We picked up a 91 that had no compression on the rear rotor and tried to drive it home. The cats got so hot they caught the rubber mounts on fire which lead to other **** catching fire. We caught it before it did to much damage though.
