The dfference in the cups is one of the main reasons I feel one should modify their FB tank with an FC cup and in tank pump. Not only is it more reliable in the long run, it's a hell of a lot quieter too

Quieter, and safer for the fuel pump, were my two main reasons for doing it.I cannot hear more than a faint whirring from my SupraTT pump unless I have my ear to the tank.

Also,the main reason why the FC cup is so much bigger is because the pump lives in there.The FC pump assembely displaces a fair amount of fuel when its in place,wheres the SE only has a pickup tube and small screen living in its slosh cup.I would be interested to find out how much volume is in each cup AFTER the correct pickup components are inserted into their affixed positions.
