1/4 mile times in Sweden

Just want to say that i have a -83 RX-7 with a streetported 13B weber 55dco-carb. and a Garrett GT-40
This Saturday i went to the strip and got some runs. My best ET was a 13.11-117mph. This was onM/T competitor 205/15tyresmy 60ft was only 2.02s. Ihad lots of trouble shifting into 3rd gear (stock tranny) Somebody on this gen-1 forum having some ideas to make a gen -1 tranny easier to shift? Oils, shiftmechanism and so on. any inputs would be a lot of help!

Regards: Lars

I heard that if you go turbo (which you have correct?), it is a good idea to upgrade to a Turbo II transmission. It will handle the power better...Or so I have read. I think you need a custom driveline, and you need to modify your crossmember though...But if you end up getting a new tranny anyway, why not get one that will be "stronger"?
