TX **DFW(Northern Texas)** Need a starter for a 1985 GSL-SE

Well, I've been looking for a starter for a 1985 GSL-SE around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. On a previous thread, I asked whether a FB 12A starter fits a FB 13B! But, found no answer, just a lead. If anybody has one just laying around, and dont need it. Feel free to send me a PM or call me, edwin @ 3239983769.

Check the greater Fort Worth yellow pages, or switchboard.com there's a bunch of import salvage yards in the area. I've purchased parts from several over the years. I'll bet you can find a starter, just give them a call them first.

The starters are interchangeable. The one I put in my SE was from the PnP, a 12A, and cost me $10. 4 years ago, and it's still working good.

Hey, there's a half price sale this weekend at PnP!

I also put a reman starter ($100) from rockauto.com in my 85GSL about that time and it's got an iffy solenoid already. I never have liked reman starters.

Hey man I live about 90 miles south of dallas, and I got one out of my 84 SE project car, It worked fine when I pulled it a couple years ago.

10 bucks plus shipping, if you come get it its free, we can throw back some beers and talk about 7's
