I found a guy that wants to sell his 83 for $300. He has 8 rims, tons of spare parts, and stuff like that... it doesn't run though... he took the damn car to a pissed-on mechanic and he said that "from what he could tell" the bearings were bad... but he also says that the engine turns over... ATF is a possible solution, but if the engine turns, ATF isn't the MAIN problem...

It might be worth it. I just got an 83 limited for $250. rough shape but might be salvageable. think of it this way; is there more than $300 worth of parts on the car? If there is you could always part it out later to regain your money. That's what I might end up doing with this limited I just got. Just a thought

 

Talk him down to like $150, or $200. Sounds like a fix'er up and sell'er type deal to me, unless you fall in love with it and want to keep it. Then you got a new 7 for the collection
