I've been 130 or so in the Spec7, about 100 in my 83 LE since it needs all new suspension.

I've had the pleasure of riding in a Viper at 150. The sound was incredible.

 

Going between 130 to 140 for over 40 minutes to get home at night after installing a used street ported engine.. that was crazy in my first ReX..about 12 years ago.. never again .. got home really fast though

I've had my 83 over 140mph while living in Germany. Gotta love the unlimited areas on the Autobahn.
Large street-port, Weber 48IDA, Rotary engineering header, complete dual exhaust and a very long stretch of Autobahn.
Haven't got a good chance to break out the Turbo yet. Only around 120mph so far.

 

Ive only had my GSL up to 95mph, because I need the tires balanced, and I dont like how the car starts to shake at that speed.

Ive been up to 143 in the 00 Accord before the girlfriend started to slap my arm and order me to slow down. Not bad for a 150hp car, with intake, exhaust, and 17" wheels.

 

I did 133mph when I did my 10.32, and that was at about 7000rpm in 4th with 4.1 gears and 26inch tyres.

I have had the car at 7000rpm in 5th with the 225/45/17s. How fast is that?

 

160 Mph in a 87 TII (not Stock) after buying it in Michigan going back to NY with my friend on the same day. Holy **** i tell u was it fast.

 

110mph in my '85 GS stock
125mph in it after Mikuni and RB exhaust swap
130mph in my friends FD in 4th gear, ran out of road to fast to get to 5th gear
140mph in a friends dad's Lexus that we "borrowed" when I was in school
105mph in my '86 B2000 p/u truck-6000rpm in 5th maxed out

 

got my 82 up to 125 (math with 85 speedo: 80mph=4000)

132 in my moms 328i

I have good story about the porsche. This was after I had already done the 130 dusting a mustang leaving tampa, but I hadn't seen anyone in probably 1/2 an hour (like 4 in the morning, on I75) and behind me I notice a car coming up real fast, mind you I am doing 120 at this point and so he catchs up to me and I think I can hang with him I punch it, he gets on it.... I start to chreep back up to 130 and all of sudden he opens like 3 cars up on me.... I figure he had juice... but I could be wrong, after that I decided not to try to race people that come from behind out of nowhere... It was a 3rd gen f-bodied car....

 

Had mine to redline in 5th with a 88 turbo 2 tranny... It pegged the 140 way back there around 6k rpm, and I was around 6900 or so, maybe 7000... So Id guess in the mid 150's.... Funny thing is it was still pulling LOL

115 in my 3 speed automatic rex... no overdrive.... the rpms were at like 6.5k at 115mph

Yep, 146 Mph.... 7K in 5th (might have gone a tad over) It's really really hard to take your foot out of somehting that sounds that sweet.

EDIT #3: I'm starting to think that my motor has some sort of porting, because I seem to be alot higher than other stock-ish first gens.

 

At that 171, the car is kinda sliding, and you are shaking, especially with the top off.

I had a '66 GTO when I was a kid. 3.08 rear end, 3/4 cam, 335 hp motor. 145-150 mph, floating all over the road. I've had my rex to about 95 with lots of room left.

If you want to know what 180km/h is in miles, multiply it by 5/8.
Its about 113miles

 

I dunno dude, 210mph? that's like 340 km/h.... do the speedos even go that high?

there's the S600 and the CL600, both have 5.5L V12s, but a 5.5L V12 is pretty small.... produces around 490HP, and 0-60 in 4.5 Seconds...

~175 mph 6600rpms in 5th still pulling nicely. his redline(MSD) was at 7500(191 IIRC) so we had a ways to go, backed out cuz we were running outta road.
