i thought about my girl...sitting in the underground garage of the apartment across the parking lot, un-touched for 2 days, while my other girl sleeps on the couch next to me, but to make it up... the first girl is gonna get a pair of Mitsubishi Lancer EVO9 fuel injectors for her b-day ( i still have 9 months to figure out what the other girl is gonna get for her b-day... i bet she'd be ****'d if i gave her the other pair of evo injectors )

I want that nose panel lol I finished fixing my wipers today. The drive arm bushing came off a few months back and since then the wipers wouldn't go all the way up or back down with out me pushing them down. Pulled the whole motor and arm assembly and checked the bushing to find it cracked... well a little jb weld fixed that and it works great again.

I made a small bracket to hold the pressure switch and relay for the methanol/water pump. They were previously zip tied to random things and far apart.
I got further into the wiring and started pulling more things apart and labeling things. This wire below was connected to two wires on the leading coil pack thing and the yellow wire went from that splice to the alternator with two more butt connectors along the way.
I'm being really picky about the wiring and will end up rewiring most of it, but the car did run fine and everything worked.

Hooked up DLIDFIS in the blue car. Now it is easier to start (not that it was hard before), has a stronger idle (cold idle especially), more tip in (it just wants to go now), and the carb is a little smoother (the way it drives) as is the idle. I'll swap to a Nikki at some point to get more high end and even smoother running once it breaks in a little more.
Definitely a worth while mod that's cheap (free in my case). No clunky red boxes to deal with.

I did a lot of thinking about the car today, can't decide if I should tackle my brakes or suspension first both are in bad shape.
Also you guys NEED to check this out.

It is honestly the ultimate widebody Rx7.

Went from this setup in the 7
With this true rat's nest behind it
To a more simple setup found here
Did I like the triple gauge pod? Yes.
Did I like having all that info at my disposal? Yes.
Did I like the location? NO.
Did I need an oil temp with a water temp? NO.
Did I need another oil pressure gauge? Most definitely NOT.
Most importantly - were they in a terrible location?? OF COURSE!
I would never recommend putting gauges in that location to anyone. I didn't need any more info for the oil standpoint but it was cool looking. I think I will be better off with the pocket space there.
I know that the water temp gauge being down by the feet is even more dangerous. But that's only installed to ensure proper e-fan thermostat temperature kick on, from a safety standpoint. And I drilled and tapped the sensor into the stock water pump outlet, so it can't go anywhere else anyways haha

Thank you sir, and thank you again for finding it for me. Once I get the car street legal, I can begin on other projects. Then when I begin the widebody project I can sell it back to you for the same price or I can cut it up to use as a plug like I originally planned. I just gotta get my own house before I can get serious with FG. For example I need a new hood because my TB smacks into it as is but can make a new one for a few months.
I will post more pictures of her. right now she has no exhaust, needs an alignment, and needs tagged. I was thinking I should get my gf to do a photo shoot with it. maybe even get a picture with me in it to prove she is my gf (you know how the hotties draw that kind of attention), just as long as I don't get the cradle robber comments about her and my age diference
