finished stripping down an axle housing to swap my LSD unit over to, and 2/3rds done making my new, revised sumped S2 gas tank using a gutted '05 trailblazer fuel pump module assembly (all thats left is the plastic cup and 1 way rubber valve in the bottom that lets fuel in, but not out)

I plan to make a cup holder today and sell some more fb parts hopefully.
I'm also working on a hardcore secret 13b engine build for my work.
I will buy a few fuses, relays, wire and solder and fix up the electrical system in my fb..

Worked late last night, so no car fun. Did pick up a small welding/brazing torch so I can move on the next phase of the renewable-canister project this weekend, after I do struts and brakes on the wife's Buick.
Having read through all the warnings in the torch instructions, I'm scared to even light the damn thing now, heh. Lawyers, feh.

Well it's been a while since I posted. Here's what I wrote up recently, just went to the scrap yard and got some decent interior parts SCRAP YARD POST.
Today I just ordered 20ft of blue 4mm silicon hose and 10ft of blue 6mm silicon hose to redo the lines on my rats nest that I am cleaning out in the next few days. Will end up looking like DD's somewhat - not trying to copy or imitate (it's impossible to recreate originality in my opinion). Might be making a 9hr road trip to east Chicago with the 7 in a few weeks and I want to get the best gas mileage and be the safest from any harm to the rotary.
Might put the e-fan and thermostat on too, just to get her rolling in the right direction. Same with an idle adjustment, mixture adjustment, wax, vacuum, proper gauge installation, and a few small other tidbits that need to be done before a long trip.
I need to get on the ball with the 7, it's been a while since I showed her any love. You know what they say about a woman scorned!!
How coincidental, it's Japanese as well!!

yeah, when i rebuilt the motor i bought 4 "new" 460 reman's because all my spare injectors were either clogged up with crap or just plain frozen/bad coil windings. also running an inline walbro and fuel pressure stays at a constant 42 psi all the way through. Im pretty sure im nowhere near a max duty cycle at 7k, but it seems the factory ecu just doesnt want to drive them any harder there. not sure why

im not sure with the seven's (yet to start tuning my s5, your example gives my alotta hope) but do our ecu's have a type of fuel fuel cut well not CUT but limit with our narrowband equipment after certain air flow reading? maybe the inj. are at that point. (iknow were not turbo here!, as ive only Helped tune a few mitsu turbo's, nothing else but just askin) maybe goin with bigger injectors will pull the readings of the afm down with the safc and set the point higher.? do let me know what you find as i am no tuner, just a smog tech but would like to start on my own s5

you may be right about the AFM, i didnt think of that. i do know that the FC's ECU doesnt look for feedback at WOT, it will just make pulse width calculation mostly based off of RPM and AFM input, it doesnt know whether i have 460's or 1000's, so it will be at the same pulsewidth at 7k regardless. i probably could just toss in some 550's for secondaries, and use my SAFC to adjust fuel down as needed, either that or full standalone and make full use of the 460's
...i will do some tinkering and injector monitoring tmw
