weber carb questions (13b guys)

so i just got a brand new dcoe 45 and manifold for my stock port s5 (high compression) 13b... i have been searching the forums and what not to see what kind of jetting i should use as a good base to get the car going but i can only find stuff for 12a's.... any info on what jets to run and possibly some easy tuning info would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

engine:

6 port n/a high compression with stock porting (as stated before)
header to 2.5 straight pipe to high flow muffler

most important thing, "start rich" and then back yourself down, much safe tuning path.

Look into the 'top' of the carb and tell us what size venturis you have. You should see numbers cast into the top edges of the venturis.

you should have bought a 48 for the high comp 13B. 45 is too small especially if your planning on porting the motor..

This link gives the specs for the carb. And yes, you should have bought the 48 mm. You can always install smaller chokes, it's a bit hard to install larger ones.

+1 he should have gone to a rotary carb specialist for proper carb sizing/ jetting to make his life way easier
