Found some brand new "old stock" 195/60r13 raised white letter tires to compliment the retro look. I know they are past 7 years of age, but it isn't gonna be a race car. I would have preferred 185/70r13 or 205/60r13. At $40 each and nothing else but generic **** out there I can't complain!

That's a sweet FB. Congrats!

Dave has an excellent I for the engine details.

Decent stock sized tires with raised white lettering are getting much more difficult to obtain.

Post some glamour pics when you have a chance.

Thanks!

Some updates, got a new razo shift **** which is much heavier, and will sit much shorter and act like a short shifter. Used paint stripper just on the outer lip of my rims and sanded and cleared my first rim (I am sure my 4th will look the best). Picked up my new old stock tires, $150 for the set installed and balanced (gotta finish the rims first). Received my cat delete pipe and painted it in high temp header paint.

Cat pipe

Rim after the paint stripper

First rim with 4 coats of clear

My tires, oh yeah that's right, raised white letters!!

And finally, the **** ****, waiting on some special order nuts so I can install it.

Next project, I bought some tiny nuts and screws so I can fix the **** boot as a few of the plastic tabs are broken off (stupid idea Mazda!).

Then, chip touch up, some wet sand and then multi stage compounding and buffing
