I know, it is so well crafted it makes you think it must have been from a kit, but these guys made it up all by them selves, fiberglass and sanders. I think it's pretty cool!

But yeah I agree, it's a long way from that classic 7 look:

I know I might be the minority BUT that kit does NOTHING for me at all. I don't think it does anything for the 1st gen body lines either.
I do however compliment him and his dad on some awesome body work and definitly on the BLUE.... It just happens to be my favorite color.

Needs wheels now to offset the paint. I agree on the grills, gunmetal maybe? Maybe a nice pinstripe or something. Or a wangan style wing.

id go dark silver, borderline like gunmetal black. I think with the brightness of the blue you need some darker metallics to break it up. obviously all in my own opinion lol.

lookin good tho, definitely gonna be a cop magnet haha

I'm with Whity and lwnslw, in that I don't like the kit at all, judging from the pictures. BUT I realize it will look different once you get some better rims on it, and that it also probably looks better up close. I don't like the way my car shows up in pictures all the time either.
and having built my own kit too, I appreciate the kind of work that went into it! Nice job and congrats on your hard work!

You guys with your remarks about "how you don't like it" are just plain rude. This man and his father have obviously put a lot of time, effort, and heart and soul into his car. It is the way "HE" wants it.
Guess my "Southern Up bringing" tells me "If you can't say something nice....don't say anything!"
Anyhow, looks good....keep up the good work and definitely keep the pics coming!!

You can't buy this stuff off a shelf, that's what makes it so special.

And check out the lines, it works!

"special" is not exactly the word I would use to describe that "thing"

+1 even though I personally prefer the stock look, the amount of work, heart and soul that went into doing this deserves nothing but respect
