Rear Quarter Panels
Does anyone know of any place that sells rear quarter panels / patches for the 1st gen ?
Considrering getting my car re-painted and think it would be best to have some rear quarters welded in.
The inner wheel wells are in fine shape it's only the outer wheel wells (lower rear quarters)
I would even consider fiberglass replacements. Can't find those either.
Any autobody people out there ?
Thanks

Depends on what you want.
Front right fender works for Rear left quarter
Front Left Fender works for Rear right quarter
If you want fiberglass, widebody is the only way.
or...go with what's already mentioned, cut from a better car.

If I had a rare NOS quarter, I don't know if I could actually use it. I'd probably just have to keep it forever. I found two NOS SA fenders and I have a dilemma about using them. At least front fenders are less permanent...
I like nofords' approach, which looks like it might be a great solution for repair of the rear.

I agree. The use of NOS parts would be very hard to do.
Here are photos of my rear quarter resto on my FB racer using front fenders. You get a 1" flare at the rear due to the natural curve of the fender. You can flatten it out and it will go on the same as a rear quarter.

Probably as said before, better off taking from another car.

Contact Steve Brooks in the UK:
Stephen@sbrooks43.orangehome.co.uk
His company makes replacement METAL panels, just the lowers (ie not a whole huge fender).
You can buy any of:
-rear patch panel behind wheel, includes rim of well, back to bumper
-front of well
-wheel arch
I bought a pair of the REAR panels. excellent quality... I have a photo I'll post if I can find it...

reviving this but I bought the wolf steel replacement lower pieces, I will post some pictures when I receive them, they also make an entire quarter panel and the pictures look nice.
