RE Amemiya's 2020 Tokyo Auto Show Car
Mr Amemiya built an Sa22C for the Tokyo Auto Show this year, and it won an award. Its pretty neat that such a big tuner would build an SA22 in 2020.
All the pics come from Amemiya's blog http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/diary/ which is really fun, or option magazine
the other car is a Lotus Europa, with a 3 rotor, who cars about that eh?

The 2020 car is kind of a homage to the speed record car he built in the 90's

They start about July 2019 give or take, the blog posts sometimes come behind reality, especially if they are busy getting ready for the TAS.

Second is the Exhaust, which google translates as Octopus foot, which is hilarious. They seem to use a medium length header, muffler is BIG

Then he put Poly Bushings in the rear links (!) they do not say what suspension is under the car, if its really stiff, poly could work.

but wait there is more! less build pics on this than some of the other cars, but there are some. it is also a little confusing because he's working on three 1st gens, including the ex-lemans 254i
engine gets built, no word on what it is, but i would imagine its a street port at least
then the body takes shape

I like the OEM radiator and visc fan and that the turbo of the Sa22c GTX must be gone.

and that one's subtitled!
It was pretty docile when *** was driving it around town. They just called it a "side port" but with 230ps, I'm guessing that's their word for "street port".
I also find it interesting that the OMP is retained on Japanese builds.
