Spring weather is just around the corner and I'm excited to get the car out of storage and put some miles on the car this year!! ?There are few little things I'd like to do on the car this year and the sooner the weather warms up a bit, the sooner I can start!

I have to be hone I have not driven the car all year. I've been busy with my 10th Anniversary RX-7 restorations and I'm out of room.in my garage... all excuses I suppose. There's a huge car show this weekend that's held once per year and I'm taking the RX-7 to that show. I will certainly be sure to post pictures. I have to get the car ready for the show here very soon.

Some pics from last night of the car and a couple from today at the show. One of the reporters from a local paper was there and loved the car so much he decided to run a small article on it! I'll share pics of that once we get the paper tomorrow
A couple pics from today:

Beauty Dave! Gold-on-gold is to die 4.
(and never mind the rest of the Herd around the garage. Where DO you find the time!?)
Pic of actual news clipping will be a fun read.
Thanks for posting

It was quite the honor for sure. The guy said he had never seen an car like mine and thought it was awesome that I let my boys play in the car and pretend like they were driving it. The boys love the car as much as I do so I figured why not let them play in it here and there. It's a treat for them and it caught the eye of that reporter and he ran the short blurb about it. Was really awesome!

Ray, not rude at all my friend. I paid nothing for the car. It was a gift from the original owner. It came with stipulations of course. Always being inside and covered with its special cover, never selling or modifying it. That sort of thing. I keep my word and will forever. Thank you for the compliments on the car! It truly is a wonderful car. More pics to come!

Thank you Ray! I've loved this exact car since I was about 9bueara old. I have found memories of seeing it parked at the drug store and remember walking up and looking at it every time my mom took us there when inwas a kid. I remember in my mid teens, riding by the drug store always looking to see if it were parked in its spot. When it disappeared I was sad. I figured the guy had sold the car. Low and behold he stopped driving it because it needed work and he needed a guy he could trust to work on it. I stepped in and serviced the car for him for about 13 years. He gifted me the car in 2017. Amazing how things work out. Right out of the blue with no sign, the guy just offers the car to me. I had a hard time not screaming yes and hugging the guy. He's not a guy that would appreciate that lol.

If/when you redo the coolant Dave, dig thru ebay for the OE-style wire clamps all around. Chinese ones are inexpensive (you might have to order a bunch of sizes to get the right ones), but really make the engine pop. I clear-coated all mine prior to keep the the Bling.
