Mariah Whale Tail Value???
I've got a Mariah whale tale (same as Trochoid, pictured) and I'm wondering what it's worth. I'm planning to throw it on ebay soon, so I'm trying to get an idea what to set my reserve at. Any guesses what it's worth?

Iirc, they sold for something like 436 new, but are NLA. One in good or better condition should be worth 200-250. It's also refered to as a flying whaletail due to the pedistal mounts.

Honestly, I don't really know of anyone else on the forum who's posted a pic of thier's. I'm not always comfortable giving pricing values on parts and this is such a rare one anymore that it could bring a wide price range.

I got mine for $ 30 out of a wrecking yard. It was off an 84 gsl widebody. I went back the next week for the rear end and they had crushed it . New they are about $430. Although they are out of production, I talked to one of the guys from Mariah Motorsports at Sevenstock and he said they still have the mold and could possibly have them made again if there was an order for one.
I'd value mine as priceless since they are so rare, but if I had to $250-$300 range.
