Ray, the car looks beautiful!!!!! i wish we had non rusty air cleaner lids like that here in OH. most every one that i've run across are rusty. i really like the leather seats. they really look nice!
also, i see your shift **** has turned brown as all of the maroon ones do. new shift ***** are still available from the dealer for about $30. the part number for the maroon one is M507-17-52010

Wow a new red shift ****. Mine's actually a kind of green color, faded from red to brown to green. I'll check that out, thanks Dave. Now if I can just get a hold on a new red leather covered steering wheel.
Yep the weather here in NE Georgia is fantastic this weekend, sunny, dry and in the 80's. A nice day for a drive indeed.
Thanks for the comments guys, the amazing thing about this car is I almost never need to do anything to it, I can't remember the last repair, which must have been more than a year ago. She got a little cranky when it snowed here and got cold this winter but otherwise the last 50,000 miles (110 miles/day for the daily commute) have been virtually trouble free.
I feel guilty for taking her for granted, I need to give her a bath, change the oil and buy a new dizzy cap and rotor sometime this week.

Ray, i checked on the steering wheel and the leather which is part number FA53-32-980A12 and is showing NLA...the non leather version is part number FA54-32-98010 and is also showing NLA.. perhaps your local dealer can source one sitting in stock somewhere in the world... its possible. i'm having a gray plug that covers the choke hole on the dash of an SE shipped from japan to my dealer..

Let's have a painting party, '80's style.
The thing I like about her best is the way she always keeps her X wheels aligned, she's a true lady
Here we are tooling around Road Atlanta:

Imagine if getting her a new shift **** was all it took to make a woman happy?
I am even more impressed with the White One than I thought I was. I just noticed that she has ALL FOUR X WHEELS in synch on both sides.
How the hell does she do that?
