I dont do it much. First i cant afford new tires and second i dont want to kill my car. I dont want to say its a money pit, but it is costly and times are tuff. I noticed one thing though. It feels real nice going into second now. The car feels "tighter?" I cant explain it.

Yeh! Watch out! It could happen at any time. Mine wasnt really that bad. My oil cooler thing was pure bull. Brakes, that was something that had to be done, but Napa sucks. My rear, that was age i guess. I know i need to rebuild my motor cause of my oil control rings, but besides that my car is pretty damm strong. I just need someone to help me tune this thing. Some days its a beast then somedays its a turd. I dont know, LOL! Wish you were closer.

ya i lucked out with my weber carb... its from a guy up north but he musta been running a little rich cuz my tuning is spot on... i might richen it up some just as a test plus i wanna throw flames.. mine doesnt at all =/.. i did all my brakes, master cylinder, clutch, and stuff like that when i bought it cuz it was a daily driver when my truck was blown. only thing that ive never fixed is a fittting on my front mount oil cooler so i add like 1 quart of oil per tank of gas bu t im used to it.... i should prolly get that changed lol. mine has never left me stranded though thank god (knocks on wood)
