Finally! Headlights for my car that aren't CPracing!
After looking for some flush mount style headlights for about 3 years I finally have something I am happy with! About a year and a half ago I bought the CP racing flush mount headlights (getting very hard to get now), and I must say I felt VERY ripped off.
The Cpracing flushmount kit has exposed rivets on the outside of it holding a cheap looking plastic cover onto the bucket. The actual bucket of the CP kit is VERY poorly made, it is all cheap tin metal and black adheisive in the corners. 3 Out of the four fog lamps in the kit were cracked, no instructions were provided (online video instructions sucked), the installation involved cutting of the body of the car. Basically this was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on this car, yet it is the most asked question I get about my car (I get ALOT of pm's asking where I got them). So in my opinion NEVER buy this kit from cp racing used if you find it...
Out of sheer luck and just lots of research I bought a different kit from a member on this site. These are one off made by "Norwegian_rotary". I'm very impressed, finally something that doesn't look terrible!
Just want to say thanks to Roar (Norwegian_rotary), and I am now one step closer! Note in the pictures that the lights are just sitting in position, not mounted quite yet.

They aren't actually made from the stock cover, but the shape was used on a similar but lighter piece of material. I believe the shape of the lights was from a FD kit that was cut and molded in, he deffinately did an amazing job, both sides are identical.
I just want to make sure that it's clear that these are not for sale, I am just sharing how happy and excited I am that I finally have some headlights.

you mentioned with your old set up that you had to do some cutting into the body, so with these did you have to do any custom Job? or did they use your already pre-existing cuts from the old set up? or were they basically plug and play as far as install goes?
that guy would probably make a killing with those headlights, i would be interested in a set, i need to upgrade my lighting, of course there is the heavy duty harness from BD and some Hella housings and all that but this would look a lot cooler

The modification needed for the front of the car would not be needed for this style of lights. But since my car already had it done, it also works to cover the removed area up. As far as the wiring goes it's pretty straight forward, a power and ground wire off of each light. I still haven't decided how I want to wire it yet though.
I might have it so that the 2 inner lights are my driving lights/low beam, and all four for highbeam. But still have the low and highs on different switches.

I've always hated the Eastbear style headlights on the FC's and FD's but it MIGHT actually work for the FB. I would love to see the outter lights swapped out for some Hella 90mm projectors with a good HID kit.
