another junkyard score
I found a rusty gslse engine fire victim at the local pick n pull. Annnd, they had a 3 day sale with 33% off everything. I came home with a racingbeat header and presilencer, remaining pipe and like new aftermarket magnaflow style muffler, a near new starter, glass sunroof, gslse rear badge and rearend pumpkin all for $120. I plan on using the pumpkin to change the rear end ratio in my gslse. Yahooooooo!

Sometimes I wonder why I open these Junkyard score threads
Great job on the score, it makes me mega jealous! They never have any first gens at the junkyards over here.

There were 3 First Gens at the junkyard today... to FB's and an SA, met a forum member there! I think he said his ID was ReX_7 or something like that?
But Sadly I still am not finding 13B headers...

Any chance you'd be willing to part with that sunroof? I'm delivering in Edmonton on Wednesday and will most likely pass through Calgary afterwards. I've been dying to get a glass roof to replace the metal panel but they always seem to get sold just before I find out about them. I've got some bucks I'd be more than willing to part with if your interested. I'd also love to see your car if your still driving it.

Junkyards are hit or miss sometimes and sad when you find great looking cars that have no reason being there getting ready to be scrapped

Awesome. I should be through on Thursday, but that's not 100% yet. My last delivery is in Lacombe, probably early afternoon. So I should be in Calgary early evening. If you want, PM me you number and I'll call you Thursday evening to give you an update.

I love junkyard hunting...
There aren't too many pick 'n pulls here in NJ, but I know of a few decent ones.
I do recall seeing a very badly rusted FB in a yard in Marlboro, NJ.. Not sure if it had anything good on it, as I only gave it a quick look.

And another score, off Kijiji this time. Got a healthy complete s5 13b NA with transmission. This is complete with starter, alternator, S5 intake etc etc all on a skid for $200 delivered to my door. Hooked up the charger and spun it over to find great compression on all faces of both rotors....

It was nice meeting you. After a little Windex the sunroof looks pretty good. Thanks a lot.
I'm not sure if you want to drive too far for a junkyard but there is an orange SA widebody with a whale tail spoiler just east of Medicine Hat. Haven't been able to stop there yet so I don't know if it's worth the trip. The junkyard is just past the truck weigh station on the right. Might be good to keep in mind if you ever take a trip that way.
