Shame the windows weren't blacked out. People in car shots always takes away from the overall image.

Looks like you have a nice car . Would be nice to see some shots of the whole car ... in an interesting place.

to me your shots are trying to be "art", not a car shot

The cover image will be a mix of two images. The picture with all the hoods open will be in the foreground and the "Rotary Engine" image will be in the background popping through.

I will be working on this all week to get it to the printer by next week.

I still need to select a few months.

Starfox - like I said, I need to relook the images over. You did have more artsy/close up photos. I like them all, but I'm trying to see how a few of them are going to work in a calendar, you know? The black/white photo you sent me would be the closest to a calendar shot to see most of the car, not just a panel or two.

I seriously appreciate the photos you sent me. You see some of my point though, right?

There have been some changes, but GOOD changes.

The cover image has been changed to the raindrop picture.

A few images have been cleaned up to add to the overall picture. For example, the picture of the three by the beach, the poles are gone now. It added a lot to the picture and doesnt distract your eye as much now.

I have two more images to pick out. Everything else is done and just about ready to send to the printer!

Let me know if you want to use any of my car and I can get these, or more, in high res. I might go take some pix with my new camera this weekend. If I do I'll post them up.

Great. i will put together a list of interest later tonight or tomorrow.

I sent the PDF to the printer today. There were no issues so I should have 100 calendars ready by December 5th or the 7th.

Id like to once again thank EVERYBODY who sent me pictures for this years calendar. It was a difficult decision to find the images for this year, everyone sent in some fantastic pictures! Thanks again!

Chris

Chris , congrats on putting this together again. Its tough to do something once , but tougher to keep at it . Looking forward to it again this year. I will have a new '79 ready for next years submissions and I'll be finding the right shot to get in the calender again for November 2010.

I was wondering for next year of you could look into an "International" calender that had some other special holidays of the countries represented on it . Not sure if calender suppliers have such a thing .

That was actually one of my big "I wonder if I should.." questions.

I thought about getting rid of most of the minor holidays, but thought that if noone said anything last year it must be okay.

Next year I will either eliminate them or look into an international calendar! Thanks for the suggestion!
