(OTHER) Dual pulley for the alternator
hi
does anyone have a double alternator pulley they would want to sell?
or is there another type car that has a double pulley that will work?
that way i could find it in a junkyard.

Check the 2nd Gen Forum, and do a Search. Supposedly they found a $5 replacement.

Grab an alternator from a late 80's Subaru - some of them have dual-belt pulleys and they're a direct swap if you use a new lower bolt.
Or just run an electric fan, no need for dual belts that way.

Could you give details? Part Number? Etc.
I know it existed, but I never found out where it could be obtained, part number, etc..

With a little searching I found the following site:
http://24.123.19.213/RandRRegulatorsSite/
They have the pulley for $4.00. Here is the email they sent to me:
The P-164 (WAI# 24-83100) was priced at the amount you had of $4.00. We may be able to give you a price brake if a large quantity is ordered! Our part description is 3/8 X 2 11/16 X .592 which equal to 10mm belts X approx 68mm OD X 15mm bore. The only dimension that was slightly different than what you listed was a little less than 1mm for OD, which should not make a difference. We hope to hear back from you soon. We are looking foward to doing business with you. Have a terrific day!

They seem like friendly folk, so I am going to attempt to order one. If anyone is interested in a group discount (how much cheaper than $4.00 is possible?) I would highly suggest emailing them. This seems too good to be true, I don't think I have ever only paid $4.00 for anything on this car.
