should I buy 89 rx?
I have been looking around for RX-7's and I found a 89' RX-7 with 40,000 on the engine, he said he replaced the engine and thats how much is on the engine I dont know how much is on the car itself. He is asking $3,000 for it. I do not beleive it is turbo. But i do not know for sure. I am not a mechanical person and anything that I would need fixed would go to a mechanic. Is this car gonna cost me alot for problems and how often do problems happen on it? Please reply. Email address n1465@yahoo.com

it depends on how well the car was treated prior to your ownership of it. RX-7s tend to become lemons easier than most cars. if it had a neglegent owner before, it will probably cost money and have problems. if it was well maintained, then it will be a great car. if it is a non turbo, then you shouldnt have too much trouble with it, they are pretty solid cars. i say if its in good shape, go for it. youll have fun with it for sure.

If your looking for a project car go with T11 ...its a blast.. If its a daily driver then an N/A...Or a project N/A wouldnt be so bad either. Well 40k on rebuilt isnt that good if u ask me. It would be worth it if the car has mint interior and paint...For an N/A anywayz. Their really easy to work on..In fact this guy I bought the turbo from said his 7 was way easier to work on than his eclipse turbo...and anyother car hes ever had..
