Hit a deer in 20B FD on 101 in souther Oregon
This just happened, the front end is smashed in, the hood is bent up and my rad is puntured.
Mechanicaly everything else seems fine, just drove 30hrs and this happens, but Im cant turn back.
Need to either get the rad fixed at a local shop and if not, going to have to have one shipped here overnight if possible.
Still in shock that this happened, but someway I am going to make it to Seven Stock, so if you see a loud black FD with a smashed in front end, thats me.
Im in Gold Beach on the 101, if anyone has any suggestions feel free to offer them.
Erik

Well, if you happen to pass through brownwood, Tx , here is one less deer you will encounter, it is in my cooler on my porch, marinating in it's own blood.

Sent the radiator out this afternoon, if it can be repaired by tommorow we are still going to try and make it.
Going to try and have the repair work done somewhere in Cali, will need a good bodyshop to fix the frontend.
The two front supports are both crushed in. The top one that the frontend bolts to is what puntured theadiator, the lower one bent the fmic a little.
Will post some pics soon, even got some of the deer.

^hehe, at least you are not overly obsessed with your car that you are cursing everyone. it seems that you are doing well with not investing too much worry on worldly things. good humor.
{and yes the deer was a year old, but you take what you get. 15min. before the hunt was to end and he came along, I hear that any deer with a bow is an accomplishment. the baby's taste better anyways.}

One of my customers (female) goes bear hunting with bow and arrow and she succseeds! and she only has 75-100# draw because that is all she can pull, but it is a super nice compound bow, she says she has to track after she hits because they are just soo big that they like to live for a while after shot..... she is savage!

Alright I made it!!!!
Just booked into the Hilton, have been driving since 6pm thursday night. Have not slept and today is my b-day.
Drinks are in order after this little road trip, but we are here and in one piece. Too bad the same cant be said for the car.
Its parked in the Hilton parking lot right off MacArthur, she is not pretty but it got us here and didn't even overheat while we spent 2 hours in L.A. traffic.
Hope eveyone else has a safe trip, see you here!
