Hey, thats this sat. Hope to see alot of new and old faces there. Don't forget this is a MEET not a car show, so don't be embarassed by your car. You can learn alot from others. They may have parts you need, advice on getting your car running properly, ect...

Thank you Vipers for starting this thread, i just have not had enough time.
Yes it is a blast, i love getting together with other fellow rotor heads. the last three meets were awsome, and i hope to have many many more of these.
To elaborate a little on Vipers post, the meets are going to be the FIRST SATURDAY of every month at THE SAME LOCATION of PIRATE CITY TATTOO. The meet time of 9-10 meens SHOW UP BETWEEN 9:A.M. and 10:A.M. after 10 A.M. we might have left to go on a drive. THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE WILL BE DONE AT 10, just means we might not be at the meeeting location anymore. we usually are DONE AROUND 1-2 P.M. but there is no set time. we usually try to end it with lunch, this give us an opportunity to sit down and chat with each other after doing what ever it is that we might have just done.
someone has sugested that mabe every once in a while we should take a trip to the beach and have a BBQ! i think this is a great idea, and we might just have to plan this some time.
as for the DRIVE, if we do a run then I usually try to get everyones cell phone number just in case anyone gets lost, or seporated from the crowd.
as Zero (the newly dubbed "regular") has mentioned, THIS IS NOT A CAR SHOW NOR IS IT A RACE. if your car is not the best looking car in the world, dont worry about it. all us rotor heads know that it takes time to get these things looking good. if your car is not exactly FAST, or you dont like driving FAST, then thats fine, very very rarly do we find our selvs driving "spirited". THE POINT IS TO HANG OUT WITH FELLOW ROTOR HEADS.... THATS IT.
for a little short history:
the fist meet was 4 cars
Speeddemon32
Vipers
Scotty305
Zero
the second meet was 6 cars
Speeddemon32
Vipers
Scotty305
Zero
Riccio
GuitarJunkie
the third meet was 12 cars (9 rotarys) (Zero now becomes a regular)
Speeddemon32
Vipers
Scotty305
Zero
Riccio
RedBaron
FC3Stech
Tr1ggerx1
an unknown
and 3 NON ROTARYS
the fourth meet....???? cars (Riccio should become a regular! I hope!)
anyways i think thats about it for now, as usual if anyone would like to get ahold of us just PM myself, Vipers, or Scotty305.

Guys,
Someone from this meet, sent an e-mail to the So-Cal RX Club, for inclusion to the club. Whoever sent it, please shoot me an e-mail ASAP at:
brhslm@earthlink.net
And we'll see what we can do to hook-up.
Cheers,

The name of that shop is Dyno Works; it looks like they are SRT-4 experts: http://dyno-works.com/
There is also a turbocharger shop right next door, I think the name was Commercial Turbocharger, the yellow pages lists them as being on the same street.

I hope I can make it. I'm having trouble with my transmission, cant get into 1st without force. I'm going to replace the slave and master cylinders as soon as the parts arrive. Should be here by 4:30 today so hopefully that will solve my problem, so I can make the meet.

No problem, should only take a few hours to swap the parts. In fact the car is still drivable. If I shift into 1st right before the car stops it goes in no problem, but when I'm at a complete stop thats when the trouble begins. If these parts don't cure the problem than maybe someone at the meet can drive my car and give their $.02. If it gets worse then I will have to bum a ride.

well....... i got my car impounded last night....... i went to redlands wal-mart at about 10:30pm, and when i walked out of wal-mart, there was a police car sitting next to my car........ WTF....... so i go to see why hes there, he said i have expired tags (which is true, but the registration was paid..... just needed smog)...... well, 2 hours later and 2 squad cars, 1 highway patrol car, and 8 cops later.... my car got impounded....... they searched my car, checked all vin codes, wrote down the serial # to my motor..... then gave me a ticket for "altered smog"...... this fu$@ing cop was trying to write me up for everything in the book.... he even wrote me up for no insurance without even asking if i had it........ which i did (he did take that one off).....
well, she is back in my custody after $300 and one hell-of-a long morning!!! the tow yard even told me they have never seen a cop act that way about a car!!! the cop was still "researching" the car at the tow yard!!!!!
all i have to say is STAY AWAY FROM REDLANDS!!!!!!!! the cop said they are doing a major "crack-down" on modified cars!!!
