Do you have a specific route in mind, or do I need get the books out and suggest some?

There's a couple of routes in the DH guide that, judging by the luck I've had with this book, are probably very, very good.

I'm interested. What type of day? Gotta be back in the late afternoon/early evening. It's my wife's birthday and I can't spend all day doing "car stuff".

If its open yet, the road that goes from Paridise to Onapakosh (spelled wrong) is a fantastic drive!!!!!! Take the drive to Paradise then take the westside road ( i think thats what it is called) Then Up to Cyuss/Chinook pass, onto the sunrise road, (fantastic drive) then back down through Enumclaw Takes all day but it is a fantastic drive. HOWEVER they usually dont open the road from paradise till pretty late spring. Same with Sunrise. But who knows this year with the small snowpack.

any way Enjoy
and dont bitch about my spelling

Does anyone mind any RX8's attending?

Also - I rode up to Paradise on the bike a few weeks ago....VERY slick and sandy roads...

...at least for a bike.

Dankspeed, we need a time and route.

I know what I would propose, but it's your project, so I'm trying to be quiet.

Well, I guess I've sat on my hands long enough. They're kind of numb and I really want to do a group drive, so I can't let this drag out any more. Sorry DS, but I have to hijack the thread.

Saturdy, 23 Apr 11:00 at Krispy Kreme Tacoma, I'll find the address and get specific directions shortly.

I think we'll try heading east on 410 to into the park where we can pick up DH9 (Hwy 123) heading through the Park to Ashford. It's about 45mi of 30/30 twistiness pluss the get there and back mileage. The Paradise Loop could make an interesting side trip if there's interest and ability (I've heard conflicting reports on the road conditions).

I'll try to make it but don't carve that in stone. My tax refund still isn't here and I'm running low on cash. Would rather make the Tech Day and Izzy's meet.

Welp, I somehow made it down to Tacoma on time after leaving here at almost 10:20. Got completely lost because the directions were terrible, somehow managed to find Kris driving around, followed him around for a while trying to find the dang place, got seperated due to me not noticing there was a middle turn lane, then drove around forever trying to find J St. I eventually just ran in to the freeway after some random wandering and decided to head home; sorry guys. Also, I feel really bad for anyone who has to live in that huge disorganized mess called Tacoma.

See you goons on the 1st for that tech day.
