Rota P45R =P

I found some nice wheels that I want by Rota. The P45R. The only problem is that it's currently only offered in 18 X 9.5 with a 30mm offset for both the front and rear. The rear wheel will fit with some 255 skinnies in the back and possibly a fender roll, but the fronts are just too aggressive. Has anybody ever tried?

On the Rota website, it says that they also make it in 48mm offset so I asked Subydude and he says he can do a group buy for the higher 48mm offset if he gets at least 20 buyers.

I think he is full of it. He buys enough wheels from them that he could get a set in 48mm offset with his next order. Tell him you need a set to test fitment before anyone would agree to a group buy

How much would they go for? I might be interested for a set especially in the black and red combo.

I didn't read that post in the sense that he "couldn't get them without a group buy". It reads to me that "he needs 20 order to have a group buy" on those wheels. Otherwise, it would just be normal pricing.

Sorry, I didn't mean a group buy. Just normal pricing. He just needs 20 people to get a specific offset that is not in stock (He normally carries the lower offsets for EVOs and 350Z).

Hmm, that's interesting when I found more than a handful of places which can get that offset.

Where? Link?

Also, don't confused the P45R with the P45F. The P45F is readily available in the higher offsets but it doesn't have the staggered/concave look

NVM! Now that I see those bronze ones staggered on a silver car! I'd rather have bronze haha!

I know Rotas are dead cheap, but how much would those cost? Also, are the wheels on the RX-8 Bronze or Sports Bronze?

I know how to find a particular wheel model. Here's one place:

http://robearracing.com/pd_rota_p45r..._roadwheel.cfm

Rishie doesn't have it listed, but I'll bet he can get it: http://www.autornd.com/

NVM I'm not interested. I think I'd rather dish out the extra cash for some NT03s.

Talk to Rishie first at AutoRND. It's extremely doubtful you'll get 20 people to purchase those rims all at one time for Suby. Rishie will probably have a better chance at getting the "hard to find" rims and offsets than most other people.
